Week In Rewind With Midwest Life And Style Volume 59
Hello, friends!
I’m coming to you with an extremely belated weekly recap…again. Maybe one of these days I’ll get it together.
Until then, I’m rolling with the philosophy that posting late is better than never, right?
Last week I managed to write two new posts, including a round-up filled with 15 creative summer DIYs and my Father’s Day gift guide.
And, as always, I’m also sharing some inspiring ideas and delicious recipes from a few of my friends.
So grab your favorite summer beverage, settle in, and join me for the latest week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
Summer is in full swing at our house, and the girls are keeping us busy with camps and activities. We spent last weekend in Lawrence, Kansas, with Peyton’s club volleyball team at a pre-nationals tournament.
The girls finished the weekend with a 4-2 record and are now getting ready to take on nationals in Orlando, Florida this coming week.
Harper has been doing a few volleyball camps too and will start dance soon. She also spent a few days “vacationing” at Grandma and Grandpa’s house while we were in Kansas.
They shopped, made cupcakes, played board games, had lunch at her favorite pizza place, did puzzles, played in the sprinklers, and ended the week with a cousin play date.
If this photo is any indication, I think she had more than a little bit of fun.
My Favorite Finds
This antique patio cooler is perfect for the 4th and all your summer parties. And it’s available in several colors!
I have and love these glass beverage dispensers.
This graphic T is super cute for Independence Day.
I’m thinking about getting this for my hubby for Father’s Day.
These pretty pillow covers are currently in my shopping cart.
More Favorites From Amazon
I am always adding new finds to my Amazon storefront, so be sure to stop by and check out my latest curated collections, including some festive red, white, and blue patriotic finds.
P.s. Did you know that I earn a small commission each time you click on a shoppable link in one of my posts and buy something? (Even if what you purchase is not the item I have linked.)
I am so thankful when you shop using my links. It helps keep my blogging dream alive and my little corner of the web up and going.
This Week On The Blog
On Tuesday, I joined some blogging friends to kick off the summer by sharing 15 creative and budget-friendly DIYs for the season.
If you’re looking for inspiration for a summer project, then this is one post you don’t want to miss out on.
From wreaths to garden decor and more, each project is designed to add a touch of charm to your home this season.
I even shared our DIY rain barrel! It’s one of the first outdoor do-it-yourself projects I shared here on the blog, and I still love it as much today as I did when we first built it.
And, if you need some last-minute gift ideas for the dads in your life, I shared a Father’s Day gift guide with some of the best grilling tools and accessories.
From handy gadgets to sauces, cookbooks, and more, these gifts are sure to make the grilling experience even more enjoyable for all the dad’s on your shopping list.
