Week In Rewind With Midwest Life And Style
Happy Sunday, friends!
This week I took things slow here on the blog to try and catch my breath. But I still shared one new post for an appetizer recipe (with a bit of a twist).
In case you missed it, I’ve linked it below, along with a few of my favorite Easter recipes from the past for those who need last-minute ideas before next Sunday.
And, as always, I’ve also rounded up the best ideas and inspiration for you from a few of my talented friends.
So grab a drink, settle in, and catch up with the latest week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
Another weekend means another volleyball tournament. This time I’m writing to you from Kansas City, where we are watching Peyton and her team in the Show Me National Qualifier.
Her team played well and finished 3-0 after the first day. The girls will play three more matches tomorrow for a chance to advance to the gold bracket on Monday while working to earn one of three bids to the national tournament in Chicago this summer.
Positive vibes are welcome, and we’re Keeping our fingers crossed they can finish the tournament strong.
My Favorite Finds
I have and love this canvas artwork. (You can see it here on my spring home tour.)
I ordered this cute lego set for Harper’s Easter basket. It still arrives in time with Prime!
And I ordered these aromatherapy shower bombs for Peyton.
These sandals are perfect for spring/summer and come in several colors.
These silk cherry blossom stems are stunning!

This Week On The Blog
On Friday, I shared a brand new recipe for not one, but two appetizers with a twist!
If you love deviled eggs, then be sure to stop by my latest post and learn how to make deviled eggs 2 ways.
A fun way to jazz up the classic recipe, these easy appetizers would make a tasty addition to your Easter menu.
This 2-in-1 recipe is part of my newest collaboration with one of my favorite brand partners, Mrs. Wages.
If you aren’t familiar, with Mrs. Wages, you can visit their website here to see where you can find their mixes near you. Or they are also available on Amazon!
Sticking with the Easter theme, these cute bunny cinnamon rolls are one of my favorite “oldie, but goodie” recipes.
They are fun to make with little ones and perfect for Easter morning breakfast or brunch.
And, last but not least, is this bacon and egg potato bake. Loaded with cubed potatoes, eggs, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese, it’s both hearty and delish!

The vball pics bring back so many memories of our daughters playing vball! Such fun times! Thank you for including my cushion covers.. but they are sewn not a no sew tutorial. I wish they were a no sew project. I just wanted to make sure your readers were aware… The closure is a no sew but the actual cushion is sewn. 🥰 Thanks again for including me ❤️
P.S. Love your blog!!
