Week In Rewind With Midwest Life And Style
Happy Saturday, friends!
We were spoiled with some gorgeous warm and sunny weather this week, which inspired me to dig out my decor bins and start adding a few touches of spring around our home.
I still have a ways to go, but I am excited to share with you what I have been working on. In the meantime, here’s a peek at a vignette I styled this week with my favorite DIY bunnies from last year.
I will have several fun spring crafts and decor ideas to share in the coming weeks, as well as a new spring home tour. So stay tuned to see more!
This week on the blog, I shared my picks for some of the best cottage-style decor finds for spring. And, as always, I’ve rounded up ideas and inspiration to share with you from a few of my favorite friends.
So pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, and catch up with the latest week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
This week was fairly quiet once again, so today’s tidbits will be short and sweet.
I started to shop online for a few things for our trip to the Dominican Republic in May. I am beyond excited for time away with my husband, Kirk, to rest, relax, and recharge our batteries.
If you missed the first post about our upcoming adventure, you can read more about it HERE.
I am currently hunting for swimsuits and casual sundresses, but not finding a lot that speaks to me. If you have suggestions for places to shop for cute and affordable summer clothes, be sure to leave your favorites in the comments.
Beyond that, Harper’s basketball season is coming to a close today, while Peyton’s track season is just beginning. I will have plenty more sports mom adventures to share with you throughout the next several weeks.
Oh, and on that note, we will be hitting the road for more volleyball tournaments at the end of the month. If you also have suggestions for places to eat in either downtown Minneapolis (near the convention center) or downtown Kansas City (also near the convention center), drop a comment below.

More Favorites From Amazon
I am always adding new finds to my Amazon storefront, so be sure to stop by and check out my latest curated collections, including all my favorite decor finds for spring and my must-have travel essentials!
P.s. Did you know that I earn a small commission each time you click on a shoppable link in one of my posts and buy something? (Even if what you purchase is not the item I have linked.)
I am so thankful when you shop using my links. It helps keep my blogging dream alive and my little corner of the web up and going.
This Week On The Blog
Now that the calendar has officially flipped to March, it felt like the perfect time to share a few of my favorite spring decor finds with you.
So, on Tuesday I shared a round-up of the best cottage-style decor for spring.
You can also find all the items that I shared in my post linked over on my Amazon storefront in the “spring decor favorites” section. I update my storefront weekly, so be sure to stop by often to see all the latest.
And, since I am still putting the finishing touches on a post that I promised you about styling an Easter vignette, I thought I would share another throwback to a favorite from last year instead.
These cute bunny ear napkins are so easy to fold, and a simple and inexpensive way to make your Easter brunch extra special.
