Week In Rewind With Midwest Life And Style
Happy Sunday, friends!
It was a busy, busy week here with four new posts (five if you count today’s recap)!
I shared a lot of holiday goodness to help you prepare for the season, including a thrifted Christmas village makeover, a new holiday tablescape, a delicious recipe for Christmas morning, and more!
And, as always, I found some inspiring posts from a few friends to share, too. So get cozy, settle in, and catch up with the week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
This week’s tidbits are short and sweet because this girl is T-I-R-E-D! And can you blame me?
When I haven’t been at work or cranking out posts, I’ve been busy working behind the scenes decorating our house for Christmas. Someone I forgot how much of a process it can be. There are totes and boxes everywhere!
Things are coming along slowly, but I’m making progress. I have the first of three trees up and fluffed, the kitchen has been Christmas-fied (yes, that’s a word), and the rest of the house is in various stages of done-ness.
I hope to wrap up the finishing touches this week and can’t wait to share my holiday home tour with you the week after Thanksgiving.
My Favorite Finds
I’ve been eyeing this pretty cake stand for quite some time.
I own a pair of these and love putting them on our porch for Christmas!
This would make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook.
These graphic holiday sweatshirts are super cute! And they come in several colors and designs.
This pendant set is so pretty!

This Week On The Blog
On Tuesday I shared my first holiday DIY of the season.
This DIY gingerbread snow globe was so fun to make, I even made a few extra houses to use for a centerpiece.
The gingerbread village centerpiece served as the inspiration for this year’s whimsical red and white Christmas tablescape. I love how all of the details came together, and I think this might be one of my favorite styled tables to date.
If you’re looking for an easy recipe to add to your Chrismas breakfast spread, you need to give these sausage crescent rolls a try.
And then don’t forget to check out the full Christmas breakfast menu to see all the recipes prepared this month by my supper club friends. They all look soooo good and I can’t wait to try them!
Coming Next Week To MWLS
Next week things will slow down a bit so I can enjoy the holiday with my family. But I hope to share some tips for decorating your tree and maybe even a new holiday printable.
