Happy Sunday, friends!
And happy first day of fall!
We had a packed weekend of volleyball, and honestly, I’m wiped out, so today’s recap will be short and to the point.

Plus, I’m sharing some amazing finds from a few of my friends.

Tidbits from Home
Aside from a busy week of volleyball, I also had another fun coffee date with my friend Missy from Sonata Home Design.
I love our chats, talking about all things blogging, and learning together—we even watched a webinar this time!
We’re terrible about remembering to snap a photo, but hopefully, we’ll get one during our coffee date next month.
It’s still been incredibly hot here, but this morning it’s cool and rainy, and it finally feels like fall.
I’ve got a fall candle burning, the windows open, and yesterday I brought all my fall decor up from the basement.
I’m decorating a lot later than usual, but with everything going on, I’m trying to give myself some grace and not stress about getting it all done so I can actually enjoy the process.
I hope to share some sneak peeks with you next week!
Until then, here are a few views from last year of our rustic entryway, dining room, and our cozy fall living room and bedroom all decorated for the season.

Want to make a statement on your front door for fall? I have and love this fall wreath.
If you’re entertaining outdoors this season, this would make the perfect addition to your patio.
I took a quick peek at some of the new Christmas finds at World Market and fell in love with these gorgeous glasses and the matching smaller ones. They would look stunning on your Christmas dinner or brunch table!
This gets used almost weekly in our house, and is a must if you have pets or kids!
Planning to travel for the holidays? I highly recommend these packing cubes! I got some for our trip to the Dominican Republic over a year ago, and now I can’t travel without them.

This Week on the Blog
I’m not usually one to decorate for Halloween, but the Pottery Barn Halloween decor is always so darn cute.
I was inspired to make my own ghost under a cloche, for a fraction of the price!
Made with cheesecloth, and just a few basic supplies, this DIY is great if you’re looking for quick and easy Halloween decorating ideas.
This is one fall craft anyone can do, plus, it’s perfect for adding an adorably spooky touch to your Halloween decor.
If you’re looking for a fun and tasty fall appetizer, you’ve got to try this easy everything bagel seasoning pumpkin-shaped cheese ball!
What I love most about this cheese ball (besides how ah-mazing it tastes) is how simple it is to make.
With only five ingredients, this appetizer comes together quickly and is much easier to make than you might think.
Coming Soon to MWLS
I have some more spooky fun planned, including a boo-tiful Halloween table setting idea, and a scary good dessert that you won’t want to miss!
I can’t wait to share more later this week!

You are so welcome, Michele! It’s such a blessing to have a blogging friend nearby. We have a lot of fun during our monthly coffee dates.

I love changing our bedroom (okay the whole house) over to fall. The photo of your cozy room last year was inspiring. Love those shutters!
We are headed to VT, NH and ME (just like Rachel) on Wednesday then the day after we come home from that we leave for the farmhouse. I’ll have one day to get the house clean and decorated for fall before the guests come. So obviously it will be “late” and minimal. And that’s okay!
Looking forward to seeing what you do this year. Remember life and family comes first so if you don’t get to decorate until what YOU think is late, than oh well. Enjoy those growing young and beautiful ladies!

Oh, wow! Sounds like an amazing trip. Fall in New England is on my bucket list. I hope you share some photos.
I’m definitely moving slow, but don’t feel as much pressure this year to share. It’s nice to jsut decorate for me and my famly this year and at a slower pace.
