Tidbits from Home
The girls finished school this week!
Peyton wrapped up her sophomore year and Harper finished the 4th grade.
It’s crazy how fast they’re growing up, and even though I love seeing them mature into amazing young people there’s also a part of me that wishes I could hit pause for a while.
We only have two years until graduation and one year of elementary school to go.
Let me tell you, I’m not prepared and just thinking about it already makes me tear up!
This week Peyton also had her end-of-the-year banquet for track.
Despite all the injuries and setbacks this year, I’m so proud of how she pushed through and earned her second Varsity track letter and academic all-conference honors.
Now we’re enjoying some downtime before the chaos starts again in two weeks!
Peyton’s got a volleyball tournament in Kansas and Harper’s dance recital is coming up.
In between all that, we’re planning a backyard makeover – the fence and garden beds are long overdue for some TLC, so stay tuned for updates.
I’ll be sure to share pictures soon!
