Tidbits from Home
Can you believe it’s April already?
This month started rainy, but my garden is soaking it up happily.
My daffodils are blooming, and many trees in our neighborhood have too.
Last weekend was a whirlwind!
We decided last minute to host my parents, sister, and her family for Easter brunch.
It was so much fun to catch up, even if it was a bit unplanned.
The kids had fun hunting eggs, and of course, there was way too much delicious food (in the best way possible!)
Now, we’re back in Kansas City for Peyton’s club volleyball tournament.
This is a qualifier for nationals, which will be held in Las Vegas later this summer, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a bid!
We wrapped up day one late Saturday night and will have more matches on Sunday and Monday before heading home.
My Favorite Finds

Here are a few of my favorite finds from around the web this week.
This kitchen knife set is currently on sale for less than $20, saving you over $80!
There are SO many great flash deals on outdoor garden and patio decor right now at Walmart including these Adirondack chairs, this flattop grill, this pergola, and these shatterproof outdoor solar-powered string lights.
Now that I’m working from home this is on my wish list.
This would make a cute Mother’s Day gift, and it comes in multiple colors.
I’m eying this piece for our living room.

This Week on the Blog

In addition to the spring tablescape post, I also updated a delicious brunch recipe: a hearty bacon, egg, and potato bake.
This crowd-pleasing dish is perfect for entertaining, and it can be easily prepped in advance.
This egg bake recipe is also super versatile!
Feel free to customize it to your taste – add your favorite veggies, swap out the meat, or even leave it out for a vegetarian version.
