Week in Rewind Volume 69
Happy Sunday, friends!
It’s time to dive into the latest week in rewind! So grab yourself a cozy drink, and let’s catch up on everything that’s been happening here at home and on the blog. I’ve also got some ideas from a few friends to share, including inspiration for Valentine’s Day and mouthwatering recipes that are perfect for the upcoming big game!
Tidbits from Home
At home, we experienced a week filled with both beginnings and farewells.
Kicking things off with the firsts – Peyton’s team hit the court for their first volleyball matches of the club season.
They played up an age bracket against some tough competition, which was a good warm-up before their first big national tournament. We’re heading to Kansas City soon for the Triple Crown NIT, where we’ll go head-to-head with some of the best teams from all over the country.
Harper had her time to shine this week at a mini dance camp organized by the high school dance team. She even got the chance to perform during halftime at one of the Varsity basketball games.
And, if you missed last week’s recap post, this Friday was a big day for me! I closed the chapter on seven years as an event planner at a local university, turning off the lights to my office for the final time.
Beginning this Monday, I’m diving headfirst into pursuing my dreams and focusing on my blogging career! To celebrate, I grabbed drinks with a few coworkers, followed by a cookie cake from a local bakery that Kirk and the girls surprised me with.
It’s definitely a mix of emotions, but I’m really looking forward for what’s to come. I can’t wait to bring you along on this journey with me. The upcoming month is packed with exciting things, like brand collaborations and even an upcoming podcast appearance… more details on that coming soon!
