The Week In Rewind Volume 64
Happy Sunday, friends!
Are you thinking about fall yet? I’ve switched to all things autumn here on the blog and this week I shared two new posts inspired by the season.
If you missed out on any of this week’s ideas, I’ve linked everything for you below. And, as always, I’ve also rounded up some inspiring DIYs, decor, and delicious recipes from a few of my friends.
So get cozy, settle in, and join me for the latest week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
We’re in a full-on back-to-school mode over here. And if this week was any indication, we’re buckling up for a busy year ahead.
Our week was filled with meetings, tryouts, paperwork, calendar shuffling, school shopping, and an open house.
And if reading all of that made you tired, you’re not alone. I’m one exhausted momma!
I forgot to get any photos from Harper’s elementary school open house…mom fail. And my teenager isn’t into taking photos these days (unless you count selfies on Snapchat.) I promise to share some first day of school photos next week.
Until then, here are a few throwback photos from last year. I can’t believe how much both girls have grown and changed! It will be fun to compare these photos to the ones we take tomorrow before everyone runs out the door.
My Favorite Finds
I ordered this and a new one of these for the kitchen this week. I can’t wait to share what I’m planning to make with them!
These kimonos are a staple in my wardrobe and one of my favorite things to wear to work in the summer and fall.
I have my eye on this fall wreath. It would look beautiful on our front door!
This is my favorite water bottle. Perfect for work, school, or sports. And much more affordable than some of the popular and trendy brands.
This lightweight cardigan is currently in my shopping cart and is available in several colors.
Shop My Amazon Storefront
I am always adding new finds to my Amazon storefront, so be sure to stop by and check out my latest curated collections.

Hi Jen – Being a parent in this day and age is crazy! I don’t know how you do it. Best of luck with all the back to school activities. Hopefully, you drink coffee (???). Thank you also for sharing my late Summer Wreath! It’s crazy to think fall is only a few weeks away!

Hi Elizabeth,
Yes, our calendar is full and life is about to get hectic. But we wouldn’t have it any other. I too, am ready for cooler weather. It seems like our weather has other plans, though. We are expecting temps in the 100’s again later this week!
I can’t wait to try your blueberry bars! They look amazing. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Hi Jen! Wow, you certainly are busy with back-to-school and working on fall content! I am still in full summer mode — can’t believe school is already starting where you live! The pickle cheese ball sounds delicious! Thanks so much for sharing the post on my gardens! Have a good one!
midwestlifeandstyle says
Hi Molly,
I’m sure you are soaking up ever last ounce of fall. I think I would still be in summer mode here, if it weren’t for school starting. It seems we start a bit earlier than some part of the country, but it means we let out earlier in the spring too.
I love your gorgeous views and happ to share!
