Setting the Perfect Easter Table: Easy Ideas for Your Celebration
Layering Linens for a Beautiful Base
A beautiful Easter tablescape starts with layering.
I like to start with a neutral base, like a classic white or soft linen-colored tablecloth.
It creates the perfect foundation to build on and makes any colors or textures you add to your Easter table pop.

If you love styling tablescapes for different holidays and special occasions, then a simple white tablecloth is a must-have, and I highly recommend investing in one if you don’t already have one at home.
And, if you don’t already have one, I highly recommend adding it to your collection of table decor!

Next, lay a table runner down the center of your dining table to anchor your Easter centerpiece. (More on that in just a bit!)
I went with a rustic, neutral burlap runner with frayed edges, but if you prefer a pop of color, try a plaid or floral print to complement the garden-inspired theme.
Styling Your Easter Place Settings
For each place setting, I used round woven twig chargers and paired them with my favorite beaded white plates.

I love how versatile both of these pieces are because they work for any season and can easily be dressed up or down with different colors and textures.

If you want to add a bit more color to your Easter table decor, try mixing in plates with floral designs or soft pastels, like the beautiful jadeite dishes I styled on our buffet, for an extra touch of springtime charm.
And don’t feel like you need special Easter dishes or that you have to buy new ones!
Thrift stores are a great place to scoop up beautiful and affordable tableware.
You can often find dishes in just about any color imaginable, and there are always plenty of matching china sets with delicate floral patterns that are perfect for an Easter setting.
Pairing Silverware and Glassware for a Complete Setting
To finish the look, add some simple silverware and pair them with linen napkins for a polished touch.

And don’t forget about your drinking glasses!
The type of glass you choose will depend on what you’re serving.
For a casual brunch, go for something simple like a glass for water or lemonade iced tea, and small glasses for juice.
If you’re hosting a more formal Easter dinner, you might want to include wine glasses to complete the setting.
Creating Garden-Inspired Easter Centerpiece Ideas
An Easter centerpiece is the heart of your table, and like the table setting itself, your centerpiece doesn’t need to be anything too fancy.
All you need are a few simple Easter table decorations to help tie everything together.
Here are 5 beautiful ideas for creating an easy Easter centerpiece to decorate your Easter dinner table.
Rustic Crate Display
When it comes to Easter table decor ideas, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
To create this centerpiece all you need is an old wooden crate, some potted flowers, moss, small terra cotta pots, and a few bunny figurines.

Recently, I shared a DIY tutorial on how to give your flower pots an aged stone look, and I decided to incorporate that into my spring centerpiece.
You don’t need to buy new things to create this beautiful centerpiece!
I used items I already had on hand, including this old wooden crate and a few flower pots I found mixed in with my gardening supplies.
This vintage crate holds a special meaning to me (I shared why in my spring home tour), so I’m glad I was able to incorporate it into my Easter table setting.

To add some color, use fresh flowers like tulips, daffodils, or even pansies.
I included fresh purple hyacinth, one of my favorite spring flowers, and I love how the soft purple blooms help bring everything together, adding a beautiful touch to the rustic charm of the centerpiece.

For even more color, I added some Spanish moss to the crate and placed my DIY planter in the center, along with a few clay pots.

And it wouldn’t be Easter (or a garden) without some bunnies!
To finish my centerpiece I added a few of these popular Essex rabbits from Pottery Barn.

Aren’t they the cutest?
Even on sale they can be a bit of an investment, so if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, be sure to check out my tutorial on how to make your own DIY Pottery Barn bunny statue dupes!
Easter Floral Arrangements

Arrange fresh flowers in a vase, pitcher, or even a watering can for a unique touch.
It’s a simple way to bring a little extra personality to your centerpiece, and it’s perfect for adding that chamring garden-inspired feel to your Easter table.
Easter Egg Display

Display plastic, painted, or naturally dyed Easter eggs in a bowl, basket, nest, or even add them to a floral arrangement for a fun and festive touch.
Greenery and Candles or Lanterns

A mix of greenery and candles down the center of your Easter table keeps things simple, yet elegant.
It’s a beautiful way to add a touch of natural beauty and create a warm, inviting atmosphere for your celebration.
The Finishing Touch for your Easter Table Setting: DIY Decoration Ideas
The finishing touches can really make your Easter table setting shine!
Try adding a few DIY decorations to personalize your table and give it that extra special feel.

Wrap your napkins with twine or colorful ribbon and handwritten place cards with each guest’s name, or fold an adorable bunny napkin and lay one on top of each place setting.

You can also make DIY Easter napkin rings using nests and eggs, whip up some adorable bunny napkin rings, or simply tuck a sprig of greenery or flowers into each rolled napkin for a charming touch.
DIY Easter bunny place card holders are a cute and personalized way to mark each spot at your table.

And nothing says gardening like fresh herbs, right?
Add a packet of seeds at each plate for your guests to take home after your Easter meal to create their own patio container herb garden.
