Set A Beautiful And Charming Easter Brunch Table
Earlier this week, I shared a sneak peek of my tablescape during my spring home tour. Today, I’m excited to share all of the details on how to set a beautiful and charming table for your Easter brunch.
A Charming Easter Centerpiece
With each tablescape I create, I like to choose one piece that inspires me. Sometimes it’s a vintage find from a local thrift store. Or a piece of fabric. Often times it’s something I already own.

For my Easter tablescape, it was these faux white hyacinth bulbs. Last year, I created a spring garden tablescape using some real hyacinth that I found at the grocery store. They were gorgeous (and smelled amazing), but the blooms didn’t last long.
Since they are perennials, I intended to plant them outside so I could enjoy their blooms again this spring. Sadly they didn’t fare so well. And so this year I decided that faux was the way to go.

I anchored the bulbs in a piece of floral foam and used a vintage soup tureen as a planter. Then to give the centerpiece a more finished look, I topped it off with some green moss from the craft store.

Underneath the centerpiece, I layered a burlap table runner and an old breadboard. Then, to create balance, I added a few bunnies and some whitewashed clay pots filled with spring greenery.

The bunnies were a find from last year. They were pastel blue and pink when I bought them, so I used a can of white spray paint that I had on hand to give them a fresh look.

So much better!
Styling An Easter Place Setting
For me styling a place setting is all about creating layers that use a mix of colors, patterns, and textures.

At each place setting, I used these woven chargers. Then, for dishware, I used these white dishes. They go with everything and have made several appearances in some of my past tablescapes.

With all of the solid colors, I brought in a pop of pattern with these tan buffalo check napkins.

In keeping with the classic look of the table, I used some old thrifted silverware. I love the pretty beaded detail which mimics the pattern that is on the rim of the plates.

I finished each place setting by adding some vintage-style water goblets. Then I paired the goblets with some shorter glasses that I found hidden in my dining room buffet. I had forgotten all about them, but I think it was meant to be.
The glasses match perfectly, don’t they?
Adding The Finishing Touches

To finish my Easter brunch table, I created these whimsical DIY bunny ear napkins. They’re so easy to make! I was able to fold and tie four in less than 15 minutes.

I used a piece of twine to tie the napkin together and create the ears. Then, I nestled a plastic egg in the center of each napkin. Since the eggs are hollow, I was able to easily “crack” them open and tuck in a bit of moss. It added just the perfect touch of spring color to each place setting.

Some of you might recognize the eggs. They’re the same ones that I used to decorate last year’s Easter table. It was fun to find a new way to use and repurpose some of my old Easter decor.

Awe…thank you, friend. That means so much. Happy Easter!
This is one of my favorite Easter tables, Jen. You have the most perfect details throughout. I couldn’t be more inspired my friend.
That is so kind of you. Thank you, Kim. I appreciate it!
What a stunning table Jen! I love the eggs with moss tucked into the bunny ear folded napkins. Such a great idea. Do you remember what kind of paint you used for the bunnies? I specifically want to know what sort of sheen is was. Matte or satin? I have a few ugly blue bunnies I’d like to paint. Great hop. Happy Easter!
Thank you so much, Cindy! For the bunny makeover, I believe I just used a can of flat white spray paint from Rust-Oleum. They still have a bit of sheen to them, but they were a really shiny pastel color when I bought them. I hope that helps and happy Easter to you too!
Love all the white and those adorable bunnies and the hyacinths are gorgeous!
Hi Debra,

Such a pretty table, Jen; so crisp and fresh with the whites, greens and brown. Love those hyacinths; the real ones just don’t last very long…but they do smell amazing!
Thank you, Lora. Yes, I love real flowers, but they don’t last long, do they? This way I can have “fresh” blooms all spring long.😉
I love this and can’t wait to share it tomorrow.
Thank you, Rachel!
Jen…I love it!! I wish I had ordered those hyacinths this year, they look fabulous!
