Step-by-Step Guide: Crafting Your Easter Napkin Rings
These DIY napkin rings are budget-friendly and perfect if you need some easy last-minute Easter table decorating ideas.
Step 1: Prepare Your Bird’s Nests
While browsing for Easter decorations at Hobby Lobby, I found some miniature bird’s nests with eggs.
The price was perfect, but the feathers they came with?
They weren’t quite my style, so I gently removed the feathers before doing anything else.
For pops of color and texture, I glued in Spanish moss, carefully tucking it under the bird eggs to create a natural touch that complements the nests perfectly.
Step 2: Glue Fern Pieces to Your Napkin Rings
Once the bird’s nests were put together, it was time to add a touch of spring greenery to my Easter napkin rings!
I grabbed a large faux asparagus fern stem and carefully pulled off a few smaller sprigs.
Next, I dabbed a bit of hot glue onto one of the rattan napkin rings and pressed on one of the fern leaves.
Once the glue dried completely, I added another fern sprig to create a fuller look and provide some symmetrical balance.
I continued gluing on fern sprigs until I finished a set of four napkin rings.
Step 3: Glue Birds Nest onto Your Napkin Rings
Finally, I added the birds’ nests to finish my DIY Easter napkin rings!
I placed another small dab of hot glue in the middle of the napkin ring where the stems of the two ferm pieces met.
Then I carefully pressed each bird’s nest onto the glue and held it in place until the glue cooled.
Styling Inspiration for Your Easter Napkin Rings

For a cohesive look, I paired my spring napkin rings with DIY bunny place card holders, printable Easter place cards, and a bright and colorful spring flower centerpiece for a charming and elegant Easter brunch table.
