Step-by-Step Directions for Folding Easter Bunny Ear Napkins
Step One: Fold Your Cloth Napkin into a Triangle
First, lay your cloth napkin on a flat surface in the shape of a diamond.
The corners of the napkin should be at the top, bottom, and sides like the photo shown above.
Then, grab the bottom point of the napkin and fold it towards the top point to make a triangle.
Step Two: Roll Your Napkin to Make Bunny Ears
Now you are ready to roll the napkin. First, flip the napkin so the point of the triangle faces your body.
Next, start at the point of the triangle and roll the napkin tightly.
Work away from your body until the napkin is fully rolled.
When you are done, your napkin should look like this.
This napkin fold is what will become your bunny ears.
Step Three: Tie Your Easter Bunny Ear Napkins with Craft Twine
Now you’re ready for the last step!
See…I told you these Easter bunny napkins were easy to fold!
To make the bunny ears, bend your rolled cloth napkin into the shape of the letter “u”.
Make sure your napkins are folded evenly on both sides…you don’t want uneven ears for your Easter bunny!
Next, cut a piece of brown craft twine or ribbon and use it to tie your napkin together to form bunny rabbit ears.
Isn’t it adorable?
To finish your Easter bunny ear napkins, nestle a plastic egg in the center between the two rabbit ears.
The eggs didn’t cost much, and since they were hollow, I could easily crack them open to add a bit of Spanish moss for some spring color.
Combined with the bunny ear napkins, I think they add the perfect finishing touch to place settings on my Easter brunch table.
