But enough about me. Let’s get to the recipe. With hints of citrus and notes of cranberry, this sparkling white sangria is the perfect winter cocktail.
The Best Sparkling Winter White Sangria
I would be the first to tell you that I’m not the biggest fan of wine. But wine served in the form of sangria? That’s a different story.
Mix up a quick pitcher, kick back, and enjoy a cup while cozied up by the fire.
Ingredients For Sparkling Winter White Sangria
With less than ten ingredients, this sangria recipe is a breeze to whip up. Here’s everything you need to make your own.
- 1 bottle white wine of choice
- 1 orange, sliced
- ½ of a lime, sliced
- 1 granny smith apple, diced
- ½ cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 oz. triple sec
- 1 oz. vodka
- Ginger ale to top
- Sprigs of fresh rosemary to garnish
How To Make Sparkling Winter White Sangria
To make the sangria, first, start by preparing your fruit. Wash and dice the apple and thinly slice your orange and lime.
A quick note on the cranberries. I used fresh ones, but if you are using frozen, be sure they are fully thawed and carefully patted dry before mixing them in the drink.
They are also very tart. You can eat them if you’d like, but their main purpose is to serve as a pretty garnish.
Once all of the fruit is prepped, add the orange slices, lime slices, diced apples, and cranberries to a large serving pitcher. Next, measure one ounce each of triple sec and vodka and pour over the fruit. Then pour in your white wine and stir to mix.
I prefer a sweet wine (on that rare occasion that I drink it), so I used prosecco to make my winter white sparkling sangria. A pinot grigio or a sauvignon blanc would also work well for this cocktail.
Once mixed, chill the sangria in the fridge for at least four hours. To serve, pour the chilled sangria into highball glasses. Fill each one about three-quarters full with the sangria mixture and top off with ginger ale. To finish, garnish each glass with a sprig of rosemary.

Jen your sangria looks amazing. I love a good white version! Red is ok for me too but I love the crispness of white sangria!
