Six Of The Most Elegant Table Settings To Inspire You This Christmas
Many of my favorite holiday memories are from times when we were gathered around the table. So this year, more than ever, I’m thankful that we can be with family and friends at Christmas.
Whether we were sitting down for a meal of my grandma’s famous roast and noodles, or playing cards and board games, a festive styled table was always a part of the tradition.
Today I’m sharing a round-up of six of the most elegant table settings to inspire you this Christmas and help make your holidays extra special.
Neutral Green and Gold Tablescape
Robyn at Robyn’s French Nest seamlessly blends a mix of old and new decor to create this classic neutral Christmas look. Layered garlands are transformed into a simple and inexpensive centerpiece. While vintage brass horn candlesticks add a sense of whimsy and evoke feelings of hope and joy that the season brings.
Recreate the look in your own home with some winter greenery, a few brass candlesticks, and some simple white dishes.
Tablescape With Traditional Tartan Plaid
This year I combined deep green tones with a classic tartan plaid print to style my traditional Christmas tablescape. Some jingle bells tied with a green velvet ribbon add a festive touch. And gold silverware paired with some festive napkin rings finish the holiday look.
Style your table with glass chargers and add in green and gold accents to create this elegant holiday look.
Red And White Floral Tablescape
A beautiful floral tablecloth sets the mood for this cheery red and white table setting from Kelly at The Tattered Pew. Red ticking stripe napkins and mini wreaths add a pop of color and interest to each place setting. While special details like wicker demijohns and vintage books give the table an old-world feel.
Mix and match patterns and textures like Kelly did to create a bright and merry holiday table.
Tablescape With Winter Greenery
Sarah at Dreaming of Homemaking uses winter greenery and a dreamy white and gold color palette to create this pretty tablescape. Greenery draped on the table helps to create an easy centerpiece that can be used all winter long. And pretty brass candlesticks add ambiance that makes the table feel cozy and inviting.
Pair gold chargers with natural elements like a garland and pinecones to style your own elegant winter table setting.
Black and White Buffalo Check Tablescape
Carissa at Bless This Nest pairs a black and white buffalo check print with a eucalyptus garland to create a rustic farmhouse place setting. Black plates and classic white napkins with a pretty napkin ring finish the look.
Style your table with some buffalo check print placemats, winter greenery, and candlesticks for a rustic-chich farmhouse Christmas feel.
Classic Red and Gold Tablescape
Greenery accented with pops of red, gold, and a mix of plaid prints fill this stunning table styled by Life By Leanna. Twinkle lights bring a touch of a magical ambiance, and red velvet ribbons tied around plaid napkins add a classic holiday touch.
Get the look by mixing plaid prints and adding festive accents with red and gold decor or dishware for a cheery Christmas setting.
