Week in Rewind Volume 99
Happy Monday, friends!
We just got back from a quick trip to Minnesota yesterday, so I’m still catching up over here!
Since I missed sharing last week, this recap has double the fun.
So, grab your favorite cozy drink, and let’s dive into all the latest with the week in rewind!

Tidbits from Home
I know I say this a lot, but these past several weeks have been the true definition of crazy—in the best way possible!
Last weekend, Kirk’s dad and stepmom came out from Colorado for a visit, and we had such a great time.
We went to the pumpkin patch, carved pumpkins, and, of course, watched some football together.
On the bittersweet side, volleyball season has officially wrapped up.
Peyton’s team ended with a loss in districts last Tuesday, and it’s really hitting me that her high school career is already more than halfway over!
But club tryouts are just around the corner, and we’re excited for another season full of games and travel.
Speaking of travel, we hit the road again this weekend for another college visit.
My mom, Peyton, and I enjoyed a fun girl’s weekend road trip to Bemidji, Minnesota, to tour Bemidji State University.
The campus is gorgeous, right on Lake Bemidji, and Peyton loved meeting the volleyball coach and some of the team.
It’s a bit of a trek—over nine hours away and just a couple of hours from the Canadian border!!
But I could see her thriving there…I guess time will tell!
While we were off in Minnesota, Kirk and Harper stayed home to enjoy trick-or-treating.
They handed out candy, went door-to-door, and soaked up all the Halloween fun
Now that high school volleyball season is over and college visits are on hold for a bit, I’m hoping to catch up around here.
This week, I’m planning to pull out my holiday decor and start decking the halls.
I love taking my time and really enjoying the process, so stay tuned—I’ll be sharing a sneak peek of what I’ve got planned later this week!
In the meantime, here are a few photos from Christmases past to give you a little hint of what I’m dreaming up this year.

Thank you so much for including my log candle holders in your post. I always feel so honored. Especially when your life seems so fun but busy and yet you still have time to get things together and post!
