Tidbits from Home
Today is a double celebration kind of day – it’s my 41st birthday and Midwest Life and Style’s 4th anniversary!
My morning started perfectly with a delicious coffee from my favorite local shop (thanks to my supportive hubby!) and some time in the garden before the predicted storms roll in later today.
Last year, for my 40th birthday, I shared a post with 40 fun facts about yours truly, in case you’d like to get to know me a little better.
On the blogging front, four years have flown by!
It’s still hard for me to believe that what began as a hobby has grown into my full-time career.
It’s not lost on me how lucky I am, and I feel incredibly grateful for the amazing opportunities I’ve had and the wonderful friendships I’ve built along the way.
Whether you’re a new reader or have been with MWLS since the very beginning, I am so appreciative of your support and encouragement.
Thank you for being here and making it possible for me to create and share with you all, while also allowing me to work from home and enjoy more time with my family.

Aww, thank you so much for featuring my Dad’s Day buffet with your post. I was so surprised, and of course delighted! You always create the best recipes and table settings so it’s quite the honor! Lastly, I had no idea blogging was your full-time career now. Congratulations! It’s the second best job in the world. Being a mom and wife is the first. 😉 I often wondered how you found the time to do all you do. Stay dry and safe up there. Thanks again.
