Tidbits from Home
The biggest news from home in the past two weeks…we’ve got a new driver!
Peyton turned 16 on February 4th.
We marked the occasion with dinner from her go-to local burger joint, a cookie cake, and accessories for her (new to her) car!
She’s loving the newfound freedom, although I do miss our car chats.
In the whirlwind of our hectic schedule, those moments felt like some of the rare times I had her full attention.
Did you do anything fun to celebrate Valentine’s Day?
We stayed in to avoid the crowds and ordered Chinese takeout.
It’s a tradition Kirk and I started 21 years ago when we celebrated our first Valentine’s Day together in college, and it’s one of my favorites that we still keep up with.
And today I’m writing you from our cozy hotel room in Kansas City!
Club volleyball season is officially in full swing, and this weekend, we’re here for a tournament with some of the top teams in the country.
Day one didn’t go as well as we hoped, but we’re gearing up for more action today and Monday before heading back home.

I ordered some of these for all our sports tournaments. I can’t believe I didn’t get some sooner!
These are currently in my shopping cart.
I couldn’t resist snagging a few of these! They’re only $10, come in multiple colors, and are perfect for my work-from-home wardrobe.
These would be a beautiful addition to your spring decor.
