Week In Rewind With Midwest Life And Style
Happy Saturday, friends!
Despite winter’s unwelcome return here in Nebraska, I churned out three new spring-inspired posts this week on the blog.
Because if it can’t be warm and sunny outside, dreaming of spring and writing about it are the next best things, right? (Or at least that is what I am telling myself.)
So pour yourself a cup of coffee, and catch up with the latest week in rewind!
Tidbits From Home
Things picked up at home again this week. It seemed we had something on the calendar every single night.
It was open house week at Harper’s dance studio, so Kirk and I took turns attending classes on Monday and Wednesday.
Her studio does not do competitions, so the chances to see Haper perform are limited. It was so fun to see her in her element. That girl was born to dance!
On Thursday, we attended Peyton’s end-of-the-season banquet for basketball. I’m so proud of her growth this year and can’t wait to watch her on the court again next winter.
Now it’s on to track and field, where she will compete in some of the jumps. Please pray for me that our weather warms up before the first meet next week!
And, in all my “free time”, I’ve been busy decorating our house for spring. I plan to get everything wrapped up this weekend and look forward to sharing our spring home tour with you in just two short weeks!
My Favorite Finds
I have and love this weekender bag. It’s perfect for quick getaways.
I just ordered these for my Easter table.
I love these cute slip-ons for spring or summer. And they come in several colors!
Doing some spring cleaning? This carpet cleaner is a #1 best-seller and currently on sale.
I have a spring wreath similar to this one and love it!
More Favorites From Amazon
I am always adding new finds to my Amazon storefront, so be sure to stop by and check out my latest curated collections, including all my favorite decor finds for Easter!
P.s. Did you know that I earn a small commission each time you click on a shoppable link in one of my posts and buy something? (Even if what you purchase is not the item I have linked.)
I am so thankful when you shop using my links. It helps keep my blogging dream alive and my little corner of the web up and going.
This Week On The Blog
As promised, this week I dove head-first into all things spring and Easter, starting with an Easter inspiration round-up on Tuesday.
From simple DIYs to decorating ideas, brunch recipes, table styling tips, and more. This round-up will help you prepare your home and heart for the Easter season.
My second post was a bit later than planned, but on Thursday, I shared a sneak peek at some of my spring decor along with tips to style a vignette for Easter.
If you need some Easter decorating ideas, stop by the original post to see how to style a vignette like this in just 5 quick and easy steps.
And yesterday, I shared my latest decor round-up with adorable Easter finds that won’t break the bank!

Then, on Thursday. I plan to share my latest recipe for a spring and summer drink that is perfect for all your upcoming get-togethers.
And, I’m hopeful that I can also share another simple spring decor idea with you on Friday…fingers crossed I can find the time.
I can’t wait to “see” you back here next week for all the spring fun!

My friend, Ann, at Dabbling and Decorating, styled this pretty table for St. Patrick’s Day.
