The busy holiday season is upon us, and I recently realized how quickly Thanksgiving is starting to creep up on me! Have you made your holiday plans yet? This year we’ll once again be staying home and celebrating as a family of four. And even though we won’t be hosting a large gathering, I still like to make Thanksgiving special and memorable for my family. Especially for my husband Kirk…it’s his favorite holiday!
So, whether you’re hosting for two, twenty, or even hitting the road for turkey day this year, I’m sharing 15 simple and festive ideas to help you prepare now for the best Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving celebration.
DIY Artichoke And Magnolia Centerpiece
Last year I made this simple and beautiful DIY artichoke and magnolia centerpiece for our Thanksgiving tablescape. I loved it so much that it may just make an appearance again on this year’s Thanksgiving dinner table.
I styled my centerpiece in a dough bowl using faux artichokes and leaves that can be reused each year. But fresh leaves and produce would be pretty too!
